The SOLITARY cause.....of everything...

I would like to start not with an introduction to the peculiar and inappropriate title, which in itself is an ecstatic tale of emotional turmoil and will surely be revealed in due course of time, but with a small exercise for anyone and everyone who is reading along…
I would like you to remember and recollect to the finest details a moment in your life when you have felt the immediate and erupting urge to laugh and cry at the same time…a moment, a situation which you think about when you have to distract yourself from an atrocity. Think of it and try to feel once again those familiar feelings, the dampness of your tears, the fatigue of your cheek muscles, and the impulsive action of your hormones to your reflexes. Imagine all that. Now, ask yourself this question-
“How dependent are you mentally, emotionally and physically on the phenomena of GOOD LUCK?”

If your answer is “no I am not”, then the next few lines might be quite intriguing for you. (For those who have bravely accepted their dependence on luck, I assure you that the story is not over yet…so read along fellas!!)

To start with let us examine the most fundamental question that pops up in mind.
How do we define luck? And just like any other precariously budding engineer, what is the first thing I do to find this out..well..i use google!! And what catches the eye in the very first glance is the definition of luck itself on Wikipedia..

As I am enlightened by Wikipedia, “Luck or Fortuity is a belief in good or bad fortune in life caused by accident or chance, and attributed by some to reason of faith and superstition, which happens beyond a person’s control.”

Now this definition looks kinda vague dosent it??
To a normal person, who does not involve himself or herself in the unfathomable depths of philosophy, luck is something that is very intimately attached to hope, and hope my dear friends is generated by a feeling which has been the root cause for he escalation of mankind through thousand of years…from building stone houses to building pyramids, from being able to walk upright to be able to walk on the moon, everything is so ambiguously entwined that you cannot make a distinction between these well I should say creepy emotions…I call them creepy because they elude us so much.
If you come to think of it, especially those people who completely denied the existence of luck in their life, they cannot deny the presence of hope in their life and since they cannot deny hope they just cant run away from fear.
It is the immensely powerful and immaculate sense of fear which leads us to believe and profess our beliefs in social phenomena like Religion, god, destiny, nature, and what not…
It seems bizarre to look at it this way but it also seems at the same time thoroughly convincing that “if I feel lucky today that’s because I am damn afraid of almost anything and everything that goes about in this universe which is beyond my control.”
It really amuses me to ponder over the actuality that people with such great lives and achievements flaunt their luck and their devotion to respective deities but they overlook the very veracity that the pedestal mast of all civilisation has been not mere luck or an alliteration of good fortune but just one single human emotion, a result of your hormonal cacophony…FEAR!!.

I leave the rest for you to contemplate, squat down and think !!!..
Will be back soon with more…
